Bovis at Welland

I was personally dismayed to find that BOVIS would be the developer for the Drake Street at Welland.

Not the most sensitive or imaginative house designs for such a lovely site!
Certainly NOT exciting.
Standardised architecture just like everywhere else.  "Subtopia"

Just look at their record  BOVIS HOMES

I do hope I am wrong.   Jerry.

Post Box - Golden Valley

Return of Royal Mail Post Box

The Parish Council has contacted Royal Mail to replace Post Box

Lengthy process (months rather than weeks) will involve a new stand alone post rather than a third party post ie BT pole.

Process started by Royal Mail engaging Romec engineering who  carry out Cat Scan covering ground facilities provided by Western Power, BT and Worcestershire Highways to ensure site is suitable and safe for new post.

Once satisfactorily competed new post box can be installed.

Regular communication will take place between Parish Council and Royal Mail

Concert St Gregory's Church 15th May

Concert St Gregory's Church 1st March

The Environmental Forum will return on Wednesday 19th February at 8:00pm in the Parish Hall.

Don Lupton be talking about Heat Pumps with reference to the Air Source Heat Pump he had installed last summer and would particularly like other people who have heat pumps to attend and give their input.

Heat pumps give a low cost and fairly environmentally friendly alternative for heating, particularly in rural areas like ours where gas is not available and with the Government giving financial support under the Renewable Heat Incentive scheme.

So if you're thinking about a new heating system or have a heat pump or are just interested in the technology please put this in your diary.
